A quiet day
It was the day that there was silence on every street. It was a Sunday in fact. Also, it was a sunny day. Johnny was awoken by the sound of a fly buzzing around. The sun was shining through the shades making a dust beam of light. He had a terrible headache in witch he could not resist. Hardly anyone could endure the type of headache he had. The night before was wild, he didn’t even remember ho he had gotten home. He found a napkin with a bunch of numbers that he had got from numerous women. Johnny called his buddy to see what had gone on. There was no answer. But by this time it was eleven o clock, so his buddy should have been awake by now. Johnny just shrugged his shoulders and went on with putting his socks on.
A few hours passed and still silence on the street corner. Usually its busy right now because it was time for church to be out. He then decided to go sit out on his front concrete steps. There was a lonely butterfly that fluttered past. The sound of a fly buzzed past. A lonely ant was making his way through the tall grass that must have seemed like huge trees to him. The sun was still shining bright. Johnny asked himself, “it’s a Sunday, why are there no people out today”. But that was a question no one else would ask.
He continued on with his normal Sunday agenda getting his laundry ready to take down to the laundry mat. That was only two blocks away so it wouldn’t take him long at all. First he prepared breakfast. There were flies buzzing around the skillet which didn’t seem to faze him. Hat was just another fly. He finally heard a vehicle pass by or he thought he did so he went and opened the screen door but nothing. The temperatures were supposed to be at an all time high today so by this point it was really hot. Johnny closed the door and went back to cooking. His hair was long and greasy and his face was shragely. No one socialized with him but he didn’t care that was normal. He lit up another cigarette. The sun was shining through the smoke creating a dim light on the other side. This was normal life. He thought to himself, “The church bells didn’t even ring today”. His theory was that maybe the bell broke.
It was about the time of day when he needed to take his laundry down to the laundry mat. Johnny started on his two block journey. He walked around the corner and noticed a lady laying face down with dried blood cooked to the concrete. Johnny dropped his black trash bad filled with laundry. He looked around. There was a car up the street still idling with the door open. He couldn’t believe his eyes. What the *****. He said to himself under his breath. There was a slight breeze blowing down the street carrying some dust with it. No one was around. The car he heard earlier must have been the one idling. But why, the car is parked perfectly and this lady is up the street dead. The main door on the church is partially opened. Johnny went back to his house to try and call his buddy from the night before. Still, no answer. Johnny ran out into his driveway and jumped in his rusty car. He sped up the street through his laundry in and drove around for a bit. There was a dead person on every street corner. He stopped in th middle on the main street of the town and turned off his car. Still he could not here anything. He yelled but that was just an echo. There was no reasoning behind this at all. Last night was such a fun night, why would this happen? He jumped back into his car and went to his buddy house. There was no one there and his car was gone. He was still in major confusion on what was going on. The alarm clock rang and it was time for Tim to go to work

heltners
1. Bright and sunny days are the days that keep many happy.
Why though do the cloudy days sometimes keep people unmotivated?
Out there things can happen.
Looking through the window, it’s a sad, sad day.
For some reason society awoke with sadness not understanding why.
Life is not joyous with out the knowledge of having happiness.
2. Transforming into light.
The way into what could be called darkness.
Transforming into whatever we decide.
But then how would the life of transferring work?
Parking meters being transforming tickets instead.
Two hours worth of time being a surprise character.
3. Listening to old singers who were an influence to many.
Listening and also gradually being more and more depressed.
Wondering why they died at such a young age.
Janis Joplin was one.
Life being so free through the era of hippie life.
Maybe that was the problem.
To free
4. Sadness, what if there was no such thing.
Saddened by our own hope of only death to come.
Being bound for death the minute were born.
Only happiness cures sadness.
The two are what makes the world go round.
If only we were able to control the yet so powerful emotions.
5. Every day, life goes on for many.
Everyday life is cut short for many.
Someday we will understand why.
Drugs are only a temporary understanding on life.
We cannot pause anything.
Although, maybe it’s a good thing.
